D.I.C.E Team Unit

The Duplin Interstate Criminal Enforcement (DICE) team was established by Sheriff Blake Wallace in 2004 as a part of his commitment to combat criminal activity in the county. DICE officers patrol the 28 miles of Interstate 40 which pass-through Duplin County in addition to all state roads and US Highways 24, 41, 50, 117 ,241, and 903.

The DICE team has stopped the delivery of drugs and illegal firearms and has seized cash and assets from the criminals trafficking these items. DICE is also responsible for the apprehension of numerous offenders wanted for armed robberies, burglaries, gang activities, assaults, kidnappings, and murders.
