WARRANT SERVICE YIELDS METHAMPHETAMINE

On Wednesday, March 21, 2018, the Duplin County Sheriff’s Office attempted to serve outstanding warrants at a residence on Blizzard Town Road. During the warrant service, deputies conducted a search of a vehicle at the residence being driven by Mary Elizabeth Williams.  Deputies seized approximately 6.5 grams of Methamphetamine, Pseudoephedrine pills and marijuana from this vehicle.

Mary Elizabeth Williams was charged with Possession of a Precursor Chemical, Possession with Intent to Manufacture, Sell and Deliver Methamphetamine, Maintaining a Place to Keep Controlled Substances, Manufacturing Methamphetamine, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Mary Elizabeth Williams was placed in the Duplin County Jail under a $100,000.00 secure bond.
